From his breakout performance on the Daily Show and a broken teleprompter on his campaign launch, to his conversation with Donald Trump (where he managed to avoid getting Zelenskyy’d), Canada’s new prime minister has had a trial by fire.
So far, he gets a passing grade from me, but some days are better than others. Here’s a moment when he gets an A plus:
Compare this to later in the day, when he doesn’t “tell the story” so much as he “talks about the story”.

The lesson here is if you’ve got a speech to give, a glass to raise, a presentation to present, JUMP INSIDE a story and tell it. Don’t just ‘talk about’ a story.
